Morning Announcements - Thursday, December 7, 2017
- Any North Hills
student who might be taking the ACT exam this Saturday is encouraged to
prepare their documentation and materials.
Please be sure to print your admission ticket and set aside some
pencils, your calculator, and acceptable photo ID to bring as well. If you do not have an acceptable ID, you
should visit the CRC to be issued a special form to serve as your ID. ACT test guides are available in the CRC
as well, if you wish to do some last minute studying.
- Attention all
seniors: Check your student gmail
account for an important senior survey regarding YOUR “senior day.” You have until Friday, December 8th
to complete this.
- Do you enjoy helping
our local community? Are you
interested in public safety and helping people? If so, you may wish to contact your
local fire company to investigate their volunteer opportunities. North Hills has recently been contacted
by several companies in need of volunteers. See Dr. Barkovich if you need help
identifying your local volunteer fire company.
- Attention all those in
Aladdin, Jr: Just a clarification
that Ensemble 2 should be at rehearsal today. Again, Ensemble 2 should be at musical
rehearsal after school today. If
for some reason you cannot make it due to the confusion, please email Miss
Marcellus.
- The CADD Club trip to
Detroit, Michigan is on…only four spots left so bring in your $35.00
deposit ASAP!
- There is an ASL Club
meeting scheduled for Thursday morning, December 7th from 7:15
to 7:30 in Room M126. You will
receive a pass to go to HR at the end of the meeting. We will be discussing the plans for our
Holiday Breakfast and ordering t-shirts.
- French Club, Hands for
Service, and Student Council are hosting a breakfast to benefit local
families in need this holiday season.
Please join us on Thursday, December 14th in the Middle
School LGI during homeroom to enjoy pancakes, yogurt parfaits, and hot
chocolate for a good cause.
Donations are $5. All are
welcome.
- The German Club’s
annual Tired for Tots event will be held December 16th. Activities will be held from the
beginning of the lock-in at 9 AM until 9 PM. Admission price is $60 – ask 12 people
for a $5 donation and your entire donation will go to charity. See Herr Deible for signup forms and any
other questions.
- Attention all students
interested in participating in the 2018 Shakespeare Monologue Contest –
please stop by Mr. Zebley’s room in M124 to sign-up as soon as possible.
- Attention all North
Hills Quest Members - - there will be a meeting today, Thursday, December
7th at 2:10 in B325. If
you have any questions, please see Mr. Ebert in A307.
- There will be a
varsity track meeting today - Thursday, December 7th at 2:00 in
A203.
