Parents in the North Hills School District now may obtain kindergarten registration packets for the 2018-19 academic year from any North Hills School District building, or packets may be downloaded from the district’s website.
The packet also is available by scrolling down to the bottom of this post and selecting the attachment below.
The packets provide necessary forms as well as information regarding required documents such as proofs of residency and health immunizations for kindergarten entrance. Completed registration packets will be accepted during school hours beginning Feb. 19 by appointment.
Incoming kindergarten families should access North Hills' online registration site beginning Jan. 8 to schedule a brief registration appointment for Feb. 19.
Appointments will not be scheduled before Jan. 8. Appointments are strongly recommended.

North Hills School District offers a full-day kindergarten program at all four elementary schools. The school day is from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Highcliff and West View Elementary students and 9:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. for McIntyre and Ross Elementary. Students registering for kindergarten must be five years of age before Sept. 1, 2018, to be enrolled for the 2018-19 school year.
Please note that as per School Board Policy 205, children who are not registered to attend school by June 1 may be assigned to a district school building outside of their attendance area. Therefore, the district recommends that 2018-19 kindergarten students be registered on the Feb. 19, 2018, enrollment date.
