The information below is for students entering Grades 7, 8 and 9 ONLY! An informational mailing regarding Project Connect was sent to home addresses for students entering Grade 6.

As part of the district's wide-ranging and multi-year Innovations in Education Plan, Project Connect will continue to put iPads into the hands of all Grade 6, 7, 8 and 9 students in the 2017-18 school year.

Prior to the issuance of a student device by NHSD (Grades 7, 8, and 9), parents/guardians MUST:

Whether you accept or decline insurance coverage, you must still register your student's device. Click here for step-by-step instructions on how to accept or decline insurance coverage.

You will need your child's student identification number in order to register your student's device. This number was included on your child's 2016-17 second semester report card.

The insurance premium will be $35 per student, per year with specified deductible(s). If parents/guardian(s) choose to decline insurance, they will be held financially responsible for all uninsured damage, service, or replacement of the device. Parents/guardian(s) may not substitute homeowners or other personal insurance for district-procured device insurance.

Students enrolled in the federal free and reduced lunch program in the 2016-17 school year will not be charged the $35 insurance fee.
