Highcliff Elementary School and McIntyre Elementary School students and staff recently held Jump Rope for Heart fundraisers for the American Heart Association.
Highcliff Elementary’s tally of $15,573 set a North Hills record as it was the highest amount raised during a Jump Rope for Heart event for the association in the district’s history. It was the school’s third time holding the event in as many years.
McIntyre Elementary’s event was a first for the building and raised $13,175 for the charitable organization.
Every student in each building participated in their building-wide events by taking part in various physical activities that involved jumping.
