North Hills School District is partnering with Northland Public Library, Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) – North Campus and North Allegheny School District to present a monthly Saturday morning Digital Boot Camp for Parents series.
A total of eight sessions will be help through April and seek to educate middle school and high school parents on best practices for digital citizenship.
The monthly programs will be held at the CCAC North Campus in Room 3002 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m., and the presentation will begin promptly at 9 a.m. An American Sign Language interpreter will be present.

Making Technology Work for You – April 22 - Our students
have the ability to design new computer programs, create videos, and build
smartphone apps. Without proper guidance, these positive behaviors can cross the
line into criminal offenses. Part of our Digital Boot Camp for Parents series,
this session will touch on the ethics of technology and explain the limits of
legal hacking and downloading.
