North Hills School District Board of Education members approved the district’s 2017-18 final budget during their June 8 legislative meeting. With expenditures totaling $79,193,692, the budget allows North Hills to continue to provide quality educational programs and facilities for district students. The budget has revenues of $77,896,299 and will be balanced with a $1,297,393 transfer from the district’s fund balance that was specifically set aside to counteract state-mandated increases in pension contributions. [...click for more]

Commencement exercises for the Class of 2017 were held on May 26 at Martorelli Stadium. Class members earned in excess of $4.2 million in scholarship awards, setting a North Hills record by more than $600,000. Nearly 40 percent of the Class of 2017 graduated with a QPA of 3.5 or higher.
