Band Festival set for Sept. 11 - Alumni Band to perform

Seven area bands are scheduled to perform in the 50th Annual North Hills Marching Band Festival. The event will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11 at Martorelli Stadium, located along Route 19 in West View.
In addition to North Hills, marching bands from Beaver Falls, Chartiers-Houston, Fort LeBoeuf, Northgate, Shaler and Sto-Rox school districts will perform. The event will also...

Nominations accepted for new Distinguished Alumni Award

The North Hills School Board approved the establishment of the Distinguished Alumni Award during its Aug. 16, 2010, legislative meeting. Nominations for the inaugural awards will be accepted through Nov. 15, 2010. One male and one female recipient will be announced in February and recognized during the Senior High Awards Night, held each spring at North Hills Senior High School.

Community swim registration set for Sept. 14
