Registration - Community Swim Program
Registration for the North Hills Community Swim Program is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012. Families may register between 6 – 8 p.m. in the North Hills Junior High School large group instruction room. The North Hills School District offers a 10-week community swim program, including swimming and diving lessons for children and adults as well as a lifeguarding class. Children’s lessons will be held on Saturdays beginning Feb. 18. Adult lessons are scheduled for Monday evenings beginning March 5. The North Hills Junior High and Senior High Jazz Bands will host the 17th annual Mardi Gras celebration on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012. The North Hills Senior High and Ninth Grade Curriculum Nights – previously scheduled as separate events on Feb. 1 and 2, respectively – will now occur on Thursday, March 1, 2012, as one event. The change was approved by the school board on Monday, Jan. 23, 2012, as part of the district’s effort to incorporate grade nine into the senior high school. The North Hills School Board approved the 2012-13 school calendar during its meeting on Monday, Jan. 23, 2012. The first day of school for the 2012-13 school year is Monday, Aug. 27, 2012 – the Monday before Labor Day. The last day of the school year is set for Friday, May 31, 2013, which is also graduation for seniors. The 2012-13 calendar is available on the district’s website: www.nhsd.net. With the district’s long-term facilities plan complete, this is the first construction-free summer in several years – allowing for an earlier start to the school year.

The last day of the school year is set for Friday, May 31, 2013, which is also graduation for seniors. The 2012-13 calendar is available on the district’s website: www.nhsd.net. With the district’s long-term facilities plan complete, this is the first construction-free summer in several years – allowing for an earlier start to the school year.

In order to subscribe to an RSS feed you will need two things, an RSS reader (also known as a news aggregator) and url (web address) of the RSS feed that you wish to subscribe.
» Download and Install a News Aggregator / RSS Reader - or use a RSS-enabled browser.
» Locate the web address (url) of the RSS feed (XML file) that you wish to subscribe - usually you can just click on the orange XML or RSS button.
» Many of the news readers will allow you to set the interval that the software will look for a feed update others simply update daily.
» The information in the feed will be updated when the feed contains new content.
You can choose to subscribe to the entire site RSS feed (ALL Feeds), or an individual feed found on each tab.
