Description

The Academy for Arts and Communication strives to provide rigorous and relevant course offerings to a diverse student population. Members of this academy will receive a personalized plan of study in designing, producing, exhibiting, performing, writing and publishing multimedia content including visual and performing arts and design and journalism. Students entering this academy generally have a natural talent or interest in the arts, performing arts or communication.

Extracurricular Activities

Extracurricular activities play a significant role in the high school experience. Students who participate in clubs and activities are exposed to a group of peers who share additional interests. Leadership and socialization skills are further emphasized and provides opportunities for students to apply their newly acquired curricular skills to real world activities.
