Programs

Morning Care Program

Morning child care is available before the school day begins at all four elementary schools for a cost of $3.50 per day.  The program is offered each morning in the cafeteria of each building and is supervised by district Food Service personnel.

The program is available from:

  • 6:45 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. at Highcliff and West View – The building is open to all students at 8:15 a.m.
  • 7:15 a.m. to 8:55 a.m. at Ross and McIntyre – The building is open to all students at 8:55 a.m.

The program operates each day that school is in session. In case of a school delay, there is NO Morning Care program. For an additional fee of $1.50, your child may enjoy breakfast while attending the Morning Care Program. See related files for a complete guide to our Morning Care and Breakfast programs.

National School Breakfast and Lunch Programs

Breakfast and lunch programs are provided at all six North Hills school buildings. The meals provide students with nutritious and appealing breakfast and lunch options that meet the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010.

Free and reduced priced meals are available for families that meet income guidelines.  A new application must be resubmitted each school year, unless you are otherwise notified by NHSD.
